Global Community Center started as a fellowship in 2023. Its founder, Chaplain Dr. Laurenda Kuffour, (MBA, D.Min.), impacts her community through spirituality, innovation, philanthropy, and service. As a management consultant and catalyst, she models and develops strategies for organizations across industries and sectors. Dr. Kuffour served on various boards and committees in the USA and Ghana. As president of A-Will Movement/Laurenda Kuffour Ministries and affiliates from 2010 to 2024, she provided pastoral care, promoted intercultural tolerance, global education, and advocated for the spiritual component of health. In addition, she partnered with organizations to provide humanitarian relief to various communities. 

 

From 2024 to 2025, she served as executive director for Global Community Center where she managed a team of medical doctors, and other public health volunteers to coordinate resources for the vulnerable in the community with the goal of enhancing their psycho-spiritual experience.
